Over the past 12 years, there have been a lot of changes within the Wisconsin and Minnesota travel softball community; but one constant has been The Danes. As the premier travel softball program, the Danes 16U and 18U teams have been developing many of the top college players coming from the Upper Midwest. With an equation of strong coaching, strong competition, year round softball and recruiting athletes with the right focus; the Danes have created an opportunity for Wisconsin and Minnesota youth players to know they have their best chance of meeting their future college softball goals.
The Danes program is the best option for softball players looking for college softball success, we challenge you to find a Wisconsin or Minnesota based program that has our resume of developing success. Within this site, we hope to provide you with information about our 2009 Season including our rosters and schedules, details about our leadership/coaching and structure, details about our Alumni and their successes and to give potential players details to help them determine if this opportunity might be something that interests them.
In 2009, the Danes will be supporting an 18-and-Under team while working to determine a leadership team to create an expansion of the program starting in Fall 2009.
We have a very unique program, which has been built from humble beginnings. We have been able to build this highly respected and successful program due to the hard work and commitment of many people. The Danes today, are a reflection of the Danes of the past. We are very proud to be the leading edge team in the softball community. We are also excited about the future of the Danes and the next generation of outstanding athletes.
