The Danes 18U team consists of some of the top players from Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Here is our current roster for the 2008 Summer Season.

#1 -- Rosie Weyer (RF) from Loyal, WI Class of 2007 and UW-LaCrosse

2008 will be her fourth summer within the Danes
Spring 2008 was starting Left Fielder for UW-LaCrosse
Will returns to her role as starting RF with Danes 18U
Named WIAC All Conference Honorable Mention as a Freshman in 2008
Named WFSCA 1st Team All State in 2007 as catcher
4 Time 1st Team All Cloverbelt 2004-2007 as catcher

#4 -- Casey Syvertsen (OF/C) From Woodbury, MN Class of 2009

2008 will be her first summer with the Danes
Brings a strong background with our hitting mechanics
Spring 2008 was starting catcher for Woodbury HS
Will provide depth in the outfield and as a catcher

#6 -- Alyssa Strunk (MI/OF) From Zumbrota, MN Class of 2009

2008 will be her first summer with the Danes
Has played a lot of fall and dome ball with the Danes
Spring 2008 was starting shortstop for state qualifier ZMHS playing for Coach Kevin Nelson
Named Honorable Mention All Conference in Spring 2008
Will start games at both shortstop and 2nd base for the Danes

#11 -- Becky Robson (C/OF) from LaCrosse Central HS Class of 2009

2008 will be her first summer with the Danes
A dynamicly athletic player with elite arm strength and great power potential
Will provide depth at corner outfielders when not catching in 2008
1st Team All Conference and All Region in HS in 2007 and 2008
Two Time All State Selection (2007 -- 3rd Team/2008 -- 2nd Team)
Plays High School Ball for LaCrosse Central's Kevin Colburn and follows a long line of successful LaCrosse Central/Danes players including Jessa Pfenning, Amanda Wilhelm, Jackie Juan and current Danes 16U Anna Munson

#15 -- Jessa Pfenning (IF) from LaCrosse Central HS Class of 2007 and UW-Eau Claire

2008 will be her third summer with the Danes
Will return as a primary DP and will also get playing time at 1B, 2B and as our emergency catcher
Was a three time all conference selection at LaCrosse Central HS playing for coach Kevin Colburn.
Jessa's ability to hit with power is a huge asset to the program

#19 -- Kaity Acker (1B) from Middleton HS Class of 2007 and UW-Eau Claire

2008 will be her third summer within the Danes.
Won D3 National Championship as a reserve first baseman for the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds
Will return to the 1B position in 2008 for the Danes
Was named 1st Team All Capital conference in 2007 at Middleton HS

#20 -- Merryssa Tiedeman (2B/OF) from Zumbrota, MN Class of 2008

2008 will be her third summer within the Danes
Will return to her role staritng at second base and providing major pop within the Danes lineup
Was named Conference player of the year and all section at Zumbrota-Mezeppa HS in 2007, showed amazing power for a small stature player
Named all conference and Honorable mention All State in 2008 for state qualifier ZMHS.
Will attend St. Scholastica in the Fall to play softball

#23 -- Sara Baumgartner (CF) from Arcadia, WI Class of 2007 and UW-Eau Claire

2008 will be her third summer within the Danes
Won D3 National Championship as a reserve outfielder/pinch runner for the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds
Will return to her role starting in CF this summer
Was named 1st team All State in 2007 following her 2nd team All State selection in 2006.
Has received numerous all conference awards in the Coulee conference including Conference Player of the Year as an outfielder in 2007
While in high school, led Arcadia to WIAA state tournament as a Sophomore and Senior, batting over .500 in 12 career at bats at Goodman Diamond in Madison.

#25 -- Jess Hegseth (RHP) from Zumbrota, MN Class of 2009

2008 will be her second summer season within the Danes
Was named all conference and all section as a pitcher at Zumbrota-Mazeppa HS in 2007 and 2008 (State Qualifier)
First sophomore to pitch for the Danes 18U since Mallory McKinney, proved her ability and will return to be a key part of the staff in 2008

#26 -- Brittany Krieg (RHP) from Hudson, WI Class of 2008

2008 will be her fifth summer season within the Danes
Signed a NLI to play for the NCAA D2 St. Cloud State Huskies
Key part of the Danes rotation this summer again in 2008, should be the staff ace
Was named first team all Big Rivers Conference in 2006, 2007 and 2008 (HM in 2005)
Was named 3rd team All State in 2006

#27 -- Jaci Prondzinski (RHP) from Ettrick, WI (GET HS) Class of 2007

2008 will be her second summer season within the Danes
Key part of the Danes rotation this summer in 2008 and adds to depth at corner infield positions
Was named first team all conference and all section from 2005 to 2007
Was named HM All State in 2006 and 3rd team in 2007

#32 -- Nikki Bromelkamp (C/Utl) from Zumbrota, MN Class of 2008

2008 will be her fourth year within the Danes
Will stay in the lineup as the Danes primary catcher and will stay in the lineup at many positions including 1B, 3B, OF
Was named all conference in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and all section in 2007 and 2008
Will attend UW-Eau Claire to play softball

#42 -- Lauren Schaller (IF/RHP) from Holmen, WI Class of 2009

2008 will be her second summer within the Danes
Will return and start at third base and bat 2nd for the Danes in 2008, also provides depth at shortstop and as an emergency pitcher
Was named HM All Coulee Conference as a Sophomore and first team all conference as a junior at Holmen HS
3rd Team All State Selection in 2008
Dynamically versatilie player is key part of Danes current and future success

#48 -- Kelly Olson (IF) from St. Francis, MN Class of 2009

2008 will be her second summer within the Danes
"KO" was one of the top hitters on the 16U team in 2007 and will be expected to be a key hitter for the Danes 18U in 2008 with the ability to play SS/3B extremly well

2008 will be her second summer within the Danes
Maddie will be a key utility player for the Danes 18U, following up on her strong fall season playing 2B, 3B, OF; also has the ability to serve as emergency pitcher
