Danes Winter Clinic

Session 1: 8:30 - 11:00 AM : Youth Hitting Clinic (Grades 5-8) Cost: $40
Session 2: 11:15 AM-1:45 PM: High School Hitting Clinic (Grades 9-12) Cost: $40
These hitting clinic sessions will be focused on teaching the same hitting mechanics that have helped the Danes become one of the most prolific offensive team in the Upper Midwest. Players will go through both step by step explanations as well as the drill work used by top hitters to suppliment the skills.
Hitters should bring a bat if possible to this clinic.
Session 3: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: All Ages Pitching Clinics; Cost: $25
These sessions will be divided by talent level of pitchers and include focus on fastball and change up development along with introductions and assessment of moving pitches for pitchers who are ready for that development. Drills and workouts will be explained and shared with pitchers.
ALL PITCHERS must have a catcher for the camp
Head Clinician: Tim Husted, Head Coach Danes 18U
Coach Husted is the premier clinician in the Wisconsin/Minnesota area working with some of the top travel ball and college players on hitting and pitching mechanics. Coach Husted is the founder of the Danes Travel Softball program and has been the Head Coach of the 18U and General Manager through the Danes 11 years. Coach Husted has also coached at the college level and is still a common clinician at college hosted clinics in the area.
Coach Husted has developed over 150 players including over 70 players who have gone on to play college softball and many who have been named All Conference, All Region and All American.
Throughout the day, Coach Husted will be assisted by his Danes Coaching Staff and Danes Alumni and all players will get individual attention and development opportunities.
